From the sea..

Here are several paintings inspired by the sea..all in acrylic. You know, the sea has so many wonderful things..the water..it's colors and facets..a thousand hues of green and blue, the wildlife..so varied, so colorful! I have sat on the rocks overlooking the water and watched how the waves glow as they roll in and splash out..amazed at the colors that we can see just watching waves at night in the moonlight..and so I attempted to paint what i saw, and then, seeing the soft pastel colors of the water at dawn, glowing with glints of pastel color bounced back and forth from the sunlight..how could i resist?
